Ardor: Dine in Style

Posted by:  , June 14, 2013
Ardor is a classy restaurant. Being a fine dining restaurant, it goes out of its way to treat their guests to royalty and style. Located in the heart of the city, Connaught Place, the place is done up beautifully. There is seating available inside as well as outside. The interiors are done up in bright colours making the place come out alive and much livelier.
Ardor is a multi cuisine restaurant serving some delicious food. They have Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and Continental Cuisine on offer. They offer the best of the dishes from the cuisines. They have a nice sought out menu serving to both the vegetarians as well as the non vegetarians. There are lots of choices in all the cuisines that they serve. Ardor also has a bar available. They have an impressive bar menu with detailed choices in cocktails, mocktails and wines. They surely know how to spoil their guests for choices.
Try the Tandoori Chicken served at Ardor. The chicken drumsticks are a delicious preparation and have a wonderful taste. The chicken pieces are marinated in couple of spices and curd for a long time and then are roasted in a clay oven. The mixture of spices and curb bring out a different taste. The hotness of the spices and the softness of the curb create a perfect amalgamation of flavours. The chicken dumplings are really soft and juicy. The meat comes off easily from the bones as it is so tender.
The Tandoori Chicken preparation indeed is delicious. The Mutton Dum Biryani is another royal preparation and is just amazing. The rice is cooked to perfection and has some interesting flavours going on for it. Each strand of rice comes out separately and is seasoned well. The mutton pieces are soft and are cooked well with the rice. It is impressive to see that it does not get dry even after being cooked for long hours. Also, the chef makes it a point to season the mutton as well which makes it even yummier. There is saffron added into the rice preparation generously. It not only gives it a great taste but also a wonderful aroma.
The slit chillies bring in the spiciness in the Biryani. The Mutton Dum Biryani is served with raita and onion salad. It is a great combination. The service at Ardor is good. The staff does a good job with their service. Having a good staff and a quick service, goes a long way in making a restaurant successful and a favourite amongst the diners. Ardor is an expensive restaurant. The dishes are costly and the bill will come out to be on the higher side. The delicious meal, good service and great ambiance make up for the money that we is spent at the restaurant.
